AutoCreaser Pro XW
The AutoCreaser Pro XW is the latest in Morgana range of high-speed creasers designed to eliminate the problem of cracking that occurs when folding digitally printed output. It is equally effective when creasing conventionally printed card, laminated or cross-grained stock.
Intuitive Display
The intuitive 7” SmartScreen controls all the main functions of the AutoCreaser Pro XW. Simply key in the sheet length (popular sizes are pre-set), touch the fold type for the finished product (letter, gate etc) and press the start button. The AutoCreaser Pro XW will automatically calculate where the creases need to be and set them accordingly. Any minor changes to the crease position can be made by touching an arrow in the relevant direction.
An alpha-numeric memory allows an unlimited number of jobs to be stored and named as you choose. This makes job recall much easier as you can use your own job name and numbers for storage.
The AutoCreaser Pro XW can run at up to 8,500 (with one crease) A4 sheets per hour, with a maximum sheet size of 500mm x 700mm / 19.7” x 27.5” up to 0.4mm / 0.015” thick.
Full cross and part perforation
Linear perforation is standard with the machine, with an option to add full cross and part perforation, up to 500mm / 19.7” in width. This allows production of a wide range of perforated applications including tear-off vouchers and tickets.
EasyBlade System
The machine is now equipped with the Morgana EasyBlade system, which allows easy, tool free removal and change.
The quick release mechanism enables the blade to be easily removed or changed between jobs. This is useful, for example, when changing between a perforation job and a creasing job and can now be done (without tools) in less than 30 seconds.
The AutoCreaser Pro XW uses an identical mechanism to all other creasers in the range including the DigiFold Pro and is guaranteed for life. With thousands of these mechanisms installed throughout the world our creasing technology is unparalleled for both performance and longevity.
