Not every shop can hit pause on production to travel to a showroom. That doesn’t mean you should have to make a major equipment decision based on a brochure or spec sheet alone. At Atlantic Graphic Systems, we understand that your time, your team, and your business operations come first, and your buying process should fit into your schedule.
That’s why we’ve built out a system for virtual demos; giving you the freedom to explore machines, ask questions, and see real applications without leaving your facility. Whether you’re starting your research or finalizing a purchase, these demos help you move forward with confidence. We’ve helped hundreds of shops across the country learn more about wide-format, print, and finishing equipment right from their own screen.
What is Virtual Demo?
A virtual demo is a recorded or live walkthrough of a machine, shown in real time, with real jobs and real answers. Think of it as a way to “test drive” print or finishing equipment without having to travel. From seeing how a printer handles a tricky substrate to confirming output speed or quality, these demos help fill in the gaps between specs and real-world performance.
At AGS, we’ve created three ways to connect virtually. You can browse our AGS Demo Series on YouTube for general overviews and product highlights — great for initial research or comparison. You can also request a custom, pre-recorded demo, where we run your actual files, simulate your jobs, and record a detailed walk-through just for you. Or, if you want to talk it through live, we can schedule a one-on-one virtual demo, streamed directly from our showroom, where you can interact with the machine – and our team – in real time.
Custom Pre-Recorded Demo
Our custom pre-recorded demos are some of the most powerful tools we offer. You send us your artwork, your files, or your job setup, and we’ll run the machine as if it were in your shop. We’ll talk you through the setup process, show how the machine handles your file, and walk through the output and finishing results in detail.
Once the demo is complete, we’ll ship you the printed samples so you can review them hands-on. This is especially helpful for customers who are concerned about stock compatibility, image quality, or specific effects like varnish or white ink.
These demos are also great if you need to show your internal team or business partners how the machine performs. You can replay the demo on your time, share it with colleagues, and come back with follow-up questions. It’s a convenient, flexible way to gather information that’s meaningful to your operation.
Live Virtual Demos
There’s something powerful about seeing a machine run in real time. We stream directly from our showroom with our actual machines. While one team member walks through the process on camera, another may assist in showing close-ups, answering technical questions, or even adjusting settings based on your requests. This gives you the ability to dig deeper. Want to know how long it takes to switch from one job to another? Need to see how the machine performs under less-than-perfect conditions? We’ll show you.
Every live demo is different because every customer is different. We tailor the experience based on your workflow, your questions, and your level of technical understanding. Some customers want a full production simulation, others just want to see a few quick tests. Either way, we make sure the answers are real and relevant.
Who are Virtual Demos for?
Virtual demos are a great fit for a wide range of customers. If you’re a busy shop owner who can’t afford to take a day away from production, a virtual demo lets you see what you need to do without interrupting your day. If you’re comparing multiple pieces of equipment and want to make sure you’re choosing the right configuration, we can help you explore options quickly and clearly.
For companies with teams in different locations, virtual demos also help align everyone in one place – without the cost or coordination of travel. Everyone can watch, ask questions, and walk away with the same clear understanding of the equipment.
And even if you’re just getting started and unsure what questions to ask, we’ll guide you through it. There’s no pressure, no rush – just information and support.
